the only ones of us who aren't signed up for the new site also, much
as we may not like the jury format, are the ones who are uncomfortable
with the new jury format or other design issues and hence don't
appreciate others making fun of their decision to leave DU.

I agree that's no reason for us not to keep it positive, though. I got
into a debate on another thread asking Occupy DU2 folks to accentuate
the positive and confine complaints about DU3 to constructive forums.

Occupy GD2 is a positive experience!

The only people who seem to becoming unhinged over here are the parade of hecklers and concerned interventionalists who have been coming over non-stop for the last 3 days to sell the new board. It's endless, and utterly pointless.

If people want to go to DU3, they will. If not, oh well. The people that have remained are enjoying each other's company, reminiscing, and yes, talking politics. It has zero bearing on your life or anyone on DU3, unless they want to join in. When DU2 goes dark people will move on and get on with their lives. Some will go to DU3; others won't.

Please believe me when I say to you that if those who are so destroyed by the admins daring to upgrade their web site decide not to ever post on DU3, DU4, or DU735, they will never EVER have to worry about me inciting them to post. My post to the OP was in response to her unhinged comments about "DU3 people" and wanting to be "left in peace" on SOMEBODY ELSE'S BANDWIDTH as if she and those who believe like her somehow now "own" DU2. The admins may have abandoned the joint but this space is still theirs to own and everyone with the privileges to post on. That comment struck me as so irrational that I simply had to find out just what was behind it.
