C-span's Washington Journal has OFFICIALY jumped the shark...

I enjoy logging on to the web in the am & catching up on the morning talk show on c-span Washington journal.

I've been a fan for a very long time. In the open phone segments you get an actual variety of opinions wich is a rare thing IMHO.

But on the interview segments they typically will show a biase towards the monied side of an argument-IE Republicans get way more airtime than any other viewpoint. I'm used to that but today-today they crossed a line.

They were feeding questions to young students at Columbia College (- a "Liberal Arts College") to lob to Matt Kibbe the RW hack frm "Freedom Works". If you expect me to believe the students came up with questions like this on thier own...

I'm gonna paraphrase from memory but the gist was...

" Mr Kibbe-The state of Colorado spent gazzilions of taxpayers money to protect us from the (evil) OWS movement-how do you feel about that?"

Really-

She was obviously reading and there is no way in heck I believe the questions were the genuine concerns of these students.

The rest of the questions from that group were equally tepid softballs for the benefit of Kibbe...

So I can only conclude that C-span actually conspired with the school-frankly I'm not shocked-but I expected better...

RW can't rise without control of all media -- every bit of truth is a threat to their

house of cards.

Brian Lamb was obviously always conservative -- but in the beginning you could see a

lot of the world that was always blocked -- and still is -- by corporate-press.


Sadly -- don't know if we ever had a free press -- think the internet is the closest

we've come to it -- in the sense of being able to understand how completely liberal

this nation and our citizens are!!



OF COURSE -- ALSO NOTE THAT PRETTY MUCH CONGRESS' DEALINGS ARE BEING TAKEN INTO BACK

ROOMS!!


FOIA AND SUNSHINE LAWS ARE LEGIT -- BUT RW CAN ALWAYS FIND WAYS AROUND THEM!!


Wasn't that Obama recently suggesting that government should have the right to LIE

about FOIA requests?

Super Congress -- and FED are other ways that our elected officials produce "no fingerprints"

political decisions --


At this point, I'd ban C-span from any programming other than full time cameras on

House/Senate -- and hearings -- and repeats of those events, in FULL.

When they have a lull they could replay the Clarence Thomas Hearings!!
