3. For a five year period if we spent as much on infrastructure as we did on our military
Shit would look like the Jetsons. We'd have high speed rail all over the country, potentially some hover cars....

6. I find the priorities in this country absolutely incredible. I feel like over the years
we've moved into some strange alternative reality ... like some type of Twilight Zone episode. TPTB are off on a whole different agenda than "we the people" who are just in the way with our stupid infrastructure and lives. Some of the conspiracy theories make more and more sense each day.

8. I Worked 30+ Years
for a gas utility. Many of our mains in the low pressure system were over 100 years in service. A few were 125 years. I assume many of the water utilities has similar scenarios. Leak histories were developed as a means to determine when the most economic time for replacement would be. Repalcement is an expensive proposition in a downtown situation.

12. In the time it took for an average reader to read your post (3 seconds?)
The US Government borrowed >$6 thousand dollars to finance the drone bombing and occupation of lands 8000 miles away.

Sane people might call this kind of thing treason, but then those people would be labeled insane.

So...Here we are!

tick tock every second of every day of every week of every month of every year the Citizens are being drained of whatever wealth they ever had.

And most don't even know it yet...

Tick Tock...Round the Clock...

The People ultimately get what they deserve.
