Zuccotti has been ordered to allow protesters to return. A woman has the court order paperwork. A protester goes over the barricade to plant the US flag, and cops react. I love how the one with the baton looks like a Far Side cartoon character:

If you go around slugging women for carrying paperwork. Of course, the cops love to attack women - if you are 84 years old and dare exercise your first amendment rights, well, surely you deserve to be pepper sprayed.

If it wasn't, there would be some reaction from our elected officials. At least the Mayor apologized to the 84 year old. However, as she herself said, she fell down on the ground and was worried about being killed, trampled on. No cop attempted to help her, it was the protesters who pulled her up and got her to safety.

Then there was the woman in the wheelchair in Oakland who was peppersprayed and could not get out of the way. No cop even tried to help her, someone who could have died. Again, it was the protesters who helped her.

Beating up women appears to be okay in our society, old, young, pregnant, disable. They do not discriminate. Shameful and outrageous.

7. far side cop is well known to Zuccotti

Can't remember his name myself but they call him by name. He always has a look like that on his face, thinks he's hot shit, and always barking some orders. I had a conversation with him. He said his taxes were going to people who don't work. I tried to explain to him how his taxes are going to big corporations but well, you know, can't argue with a wall. Tried to explain to him that not everyone camping there is unemployed. Told him I own two houses but am camped there. blah blah,
My husband told him not to poke that bees nest. Told him that poking it will only make more bees comes out. But I guess he had to poke. poke poke poke, bees, bees, bees
