Correction to my beloved Rachel, NO, veterans day is THANKGIVING FOR PEACE
In fact, I submit *resolve* that the day be re-named, "Veterans' Thanksgiving" - FOR PEACE. RELIEF from the HORRORS OF WAR!!!!11111 Rachel said it was about "veterans".

1. I vote we go back to armistice day
with all that this means... but it became about vets after the Korean war. So technically she is correct...

3. I say we rename it Super Christmas.
Festivities include: present receiving, cake eating, firework shooting off, getting drunk on green beer. It would do wonders for the economy.

4. veteran's day is badly named.
Memorial Day should be named Veteran's Day, and Veteran's Day should be named Memorial, or Remembrance Day.
