It is time for the people to lead. I know it doesn't speak to many people who see politics only in terms of Republican vs Democrat and somehow, still see it as working. But I do not want to choose between the a gentle Friedman model with a few small bones thrown in from Keynes and an obtuse pure Friedman model. I want an overhaul back towards corporate restraints (regulations), a secure safety net free from attacks from the Friedman model, both a public and private sector with a funded public sector, separation of corporation and state and church and state, policies that seek full employment, the right to assemble, the right to organize, a safe environment, and reciprocal trade instead of globalization. We're not getting that with politics as usual.
