the 78 billion dollars they used to pay for their suppression of the middle class.
They held a trial this morning with Cornel West and friends. It was live streamed on WBAI.

Thursday Nov 3, 10am-Noon Public Trial of Goldman Sachs by Occupy Wall Street

Princeton University professor and civil rights activist Cornel West and Pulitzer Prize winning author Chris Hedges are among many prominent figures who will preside over and participate in a trial of Goldman Sachs. The trial is open to the public and will be broadcast live on WBAI (99.5 FM and streamed live at stream.wbai.org). Taking their inspiration from the Bertrand Russell public trials of U.S. government officials held during the Vietnam War, the proceedings will include expert analysis by West and Hedges, along with testimony from individuals whose lives have been destroyed by the activities of Goldman Sachs. The trial will take place at Liberty Square Park (a.k.a. Zuccotti Park) where radios tuned in to WBAI 99.5 FM will be distributed to enable the crowd to hear the proceedings. The verdict and sentence will be pronounced by the 99%.

You can hear more about the Occupy Wall Street movement on their own WBAI show, Monday-Friday at 6:30pm. Email: ows at wbai.org

2. Was a defense provided?
I'm not doubting their culpability, but I'd hate to think we're reaching the point where a "trial" comes with a pre-ordained "verdict".

5. Don't fret too much, I doubt the verdict is 'binding' in any US court.
Not that they'd even be put on trial though. We can't have our masters being held to account.
