Washington Post condescends to cover OccWallStreet
There it was, buried on the no-man's-land of Page 2.
A photo and a caption.

The caption reads:
"A protester wears a dollar bill over his mouth at the start of a march Friday in New York City carried out by demonstrators opposed to corporate profit. More than 1,000 activists affiliated with the Occupy Wall Street movement clogged traffic in Lower Manhattan"

Link:

How perfectly the unknown Post caption writer sought to eviscerate Occupy Wall Street by reducing the organization/movement's goals to nothing more than opposing corporate profit. In addition, the unknown caption writer essentially said that "More than 1,000" activists (which could mean anything from 1,001 to hundreds of thousands or even millions, but they're not going to tell the Post readers that)did little more than clog traffic.

If I had a photo of the staff in the Washington Post's newsroom, I might counter this ridiculous non-coverage by claiming that "A few purported journalists at the Washington Post continued to obey and protect the paper's corporate overlords by not printing anything resembling coverage of opposition to the corporatocracy."

This might not be breaking news, but the Post sure knows how to break the facts it doesn't want you to see.
