With My Deepest Apologies... 'Michele Bachmann: Reagan in Pumps'
Michele Bachmann: Reagan in Pumps
By Matt Barber | Published 01/11/2011

<snip>

Republicans have pined for the next Ronald Reagan since the day that his eight-year presidency ended, but to date, no man has succeeded in filling the conservative standard-bearer's legendary boots.

Well, maybe it's time to swap boots for pumps. Could it be that the next standard bearer could be a woman?

Could it be Sarah Palin? Perhaps, but there's actually another outspoken, attractive, fearlessly conservative Tea Party favorite who is firing up the center-right grass roots: Rep. Michele Bachmann, the Republican congresswoman from Minnesota.

Forget a Senate run. The buzz inside the Beltway is that Mrs. Bachmann (pronounced BOCK-man) may be looking to add a woman's touch to the Oval Office (beyond just sprucing up its current occupant's eyesore decor). Her spokesman, Doug Sachtleben, has confirmed to media that the congresswoman is considering a potential presidential run, saying: "Nothing's off the table."

Mrs. Bachmann also hinted at the possibility, recently telling MinnPost.com: "We're going to have a deep bench for 2012, I have no doubt, and I think what people are asking for is a bold, strong, constitutional conservative."

Mrs. Bachmann is all that and more. The truth is that a Bachmann presidency could be just the shot in the arm that Republicans--and our worse-for-the-wear republic--desperately need.

"Center-Right ???"

"Mrs. Bachmann (pronounced BOCK-man)"

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

I genuinely believe if Hitler were around today, the MSM would refer to him as a "controversial conservative".

6. The crazy-eyes female fundie freak Michele Bachmann our POTUS!?!
"Based on her penchant for telling it like it is, her existing widespread Tea Party support and her fast-growing national popularity, if this intelligent, principled, bomb-dropping bombshell were to run, I suspect her campaign might just catch fire"

Seriously?

This ex-boxer obviously took one too many lefty hooks to the head.

She, along with perhaps the blood-libeled and vengeful female fundie freak Sarah Palin as her VP, would likely declare and implement Martial Law within several months after taking office...would the US have enough prisons, jails, and FEMA camps prepared and ready to accomodate those "Anti-American" Democrats in Congress, eventually including all accused/identified Anti-American and Godless socialist/progressive/liberal lefties?

The US would become a Christian Dominionist-ruled Theocracy.

At least for those who would/could survive during/through it.

(((shudder)))

7. Bachmann is much dumber, meaner and crazier than Reagan ever was.
And I was no fan of Reagan.
