Andrew Breitbart Incites Violence Against Liberals, Says Military Will Back The Tea Party Up
Source: Addicting Info

Tea Party favorite Andrew Breitbartz told a conservative audience in Massachusetts that conservatives outnumber liberals and have most of the guns. He also claimed that the military is ready to take action against liberals if violence ever erupted between liberals and conservatives.

“I’m under attack all the time. They call me gay, there are death threats… There are times where I’m not thinking as clearly as I should, and in those unclear moments, I always think to myself, ‘Fire the first shot.’ Bring it on. Because I know who’s on our side. They can only win a rhetorical and propaganda war. They cannot win. We outnumber them in this country, and we have the guns… I’m not kidding. They talk a mean game, but they will not cross that line because they know what they’re dealing with.

Then he claimed that some senior military officials have personally assured him that they’ll join the right wing in a civil war.

7. I propose waterboarding Brietbart to find out.
If it's good enough for terrorists it's surely good enough for those advocating insurrection against the government.

5. This is the type of rhetoric which is the result of the irresponsible
rants of right wingnuts and teabaggers, aided by the propaganda ministers of Faux news, while the so-called MSM stands by or gives them a national forum. For all the hysterical talk from the GOP warning of Obama's tax reform plan being "class warfare", it should be clear that they welcome violence. Their brainless followers do have guns and would be eager to use them. Was not-so-Breitbart talking to a militia group?

8. For those who scoff at this as being far-fetched, two words
Kent State. By the way don't the repubs and teabaggers always refer to our troops in distant lands as defending our freedoms? Do those freedoms allow for political debate and free elections?

And it's true the military is more conservative. But you know, conservative doesn't necessarily mean batshit crazy in some circles.

I would wager that gun ownership is at LEAST as high among Democrats as among Republicans. I wouldn't be surprised if Democratic gun owners outnumber Republican gun owners here.

22. Breitbart and his military brass may want to take a hard look at our soldiers before saying that.
According to a recent Military Times poll of active duty U.S. soldiers, only 41% of our soldiers identify themselves are Republicans or claim to support Republican political viewpoints. A third describe themselves as Democrats, and the remainder are independents. On top of that 40% of our military now consists of minority soldiers from communities that have historically been oppressed in this country.

It's a pipe dream to think that the military would simply pick a side in a civil war, because doing so would destroy it. The military follows a chain of command that leads to the President and the Constitution. The military, in a civil war, will follow the orders of whomever is in the Oval Office. If the military brass were to "choose sides" in a domestic insuurrection and give an extraconstitutional order to pick a side, the chain of command would explode as everybody began fighting over the legality of the orders, etc. They wouldn't go ANYWHERE while that was going on. If that debate and insurrections were to drag on, or if the chain of command were broken away from their constitutional roots, I suspect that most of the military would simply fall apart as soldiers went home...taking their guns with them and fighting for whichever side they believed in anyway.

The idea that the military is some monolithic entity that would take the side of one political party is a joke.
