If the MSM had any balls, they would confront Perry about
ALL the funding cuts he has put into place in the last year:

-State funding/support for families raising children with autism
-Cutbacks on state services that monitor daycares and nursing homes
-75% funding cut on volunteer firefighting services
-massive teacher layoffs that have happened around the state in pretty much every district

The budget eliminates financial aid for 29,000 low-income college students and cuts funding to nursing homes by $1.6 billion.

I'm having horrible deja vu moments from 2000 when so many Texans were online til their fingers bled trying so hard to get information out about chimp's failing regime down here and it all got ignored by the MSM. Granted that was 10 years ago and there are so many new social media outlets now that MAYBE this kind of info will get out more effectively...but given that it is the same damn MSM overlords in place, I am not holding my breath.

1. "Rick the Torch"
Cut funding of volunteer fire departments 75% now Texas is burning to the ground. Nero Perry is smiling and fiddling. I'm sure Obama would be happy to declare Texas a "disaster area". What is Perry waiting for? Republicans= Disaster

2. Why would they do that if they want him to win?
Makes no sense to build someone up like that just to tear him down.

3. It scares me that he might be deemed the GOP's best candidate
for President. Yeah, Rick Fucking Perry is presidential material? It's a damn joke, and this country will pay for its stupidity if he is the nominee or elected.

I'm feeling really distressed about that field of candidates being the best they have to offer.

4. Plenty Of Time...
The charm of these primaries is how nasty it will get. You've got two bastards as front runners who surely will do whatever they have to to win the nomination and I suspect we'll be hearing a lot more of Guv. Goodhair's "record" over the next few months.

Remember, right now Democrats are invisible...this is a rushpublican mud fight and much of what we consider important mean little to the teabaggers and fundies who will be deciding who the GOTB nominee is. And that's the charm...the nasty on that stage last night is gonna get nastier and will reap a harvest of oppo research.

5. And if my grandmother had any balls, she'd be my grandfather.
But neither does (have any balls).
