Gitmo firm to run UK detention centre

The GEO Group, a company that manages part of Guantanamo Bay prison camp and private jails in the US, has been chosen to run the Dungavel immigration removal centre for five years.

In the United States, the firm has been facing rising accusations of sexual assault, human rights abuses, and negligence.

It is reported that the guards at South Texas Detention Complex have been forcing women prisoners to have sex with them or will be deported.

In 2007, Texas decided to cancel a £6million deal with GEO and closed the Coke County Juvenile Justice Centre following sexual abuse claims.

From what I have just read, and am posting below, private security ( domestic mercenaries) in this country is being controlled by just a few intertwined companies, and is sounding a LOT like E. Germany's notorious Stazi.
Worse, because they are "private" contractors, there is no accountability to citizens.
The government can use them at will and then deny any responsibility for the outcomes.
Quite chilling.

These guys have their fingers in a LOT of pies, a spider network of security "protection" and at one time were known a
"the private FBI".
