The Great Big Huge Ginormous
Edited on Wed Aug-24-11 02:51 PM by madamesilverspurs
Americans For Prosperity "Running On Empty" tour came to town this morning, and we were there to meet them. The gist of their talk was to blame President Obama for everything under the sun, no surprise there.

Edit to mention: AFP was handing out little foam rubber gas pumps, clearly marked "made in China"...

Some pics:

1. Renfroe: "Every sperm is sacred, every sperm is great.
If a sperm is wasted, God gets quite irate."

3. How much longer will the wealthy bankroll this nonsense?
Doesn't look like they're getting much bang for their buck. I wonder what the local radio station will have to say about the turnout, if indeed they even deign to mention the embarrassingly paltry numbers? Probably whine about how the good, patriotic citizens who fight for the country were intimidated by the dirty fucking hippies and their dastardly yellow and green signs.

4. I wish the M$M would talk about this pathetic charade of losers
and their waste of money. NO ONE is buying it anymore. :eyes:

5. I'd settle for as much coverage as when this nonsense first broke
Boy, they couldn't get enough of these angry "patriots" stomping around, yelling at town hall meetings, and carrying their rifles and side arms. At least, until the inevitable happened, and in this case it was Rep. Giffords and Judge Roll who got shot. Now that their movement has entered its "pathetic" phase, and the ersatz nature of its "grass roots" is apparent to all, let's get some follow up from those major media outlets who fed this troll.

8. You'd think the Kook Brothers would spring for a couple of portapotties.
You can't have a gathering like this without portapotties. Lots of portapotties. The AFP crowd is attracted by portapotties. EVERYBODY knows that!
