1. I am somewhat surprised he doesn't have a "fill-in" gig
on MSNBC ala Melissa Harris-Perry and Chris Hayes. I've always liked Ron and used to listen to him on the radio regularly. Smart, thoughtful guy and a good interviewer.

2. He did have some sort of gig there before, didn't he? Or am
I thinking of his radio show that ended with the company and he was never picked up for another?

Maybe we'll see more of him. I think I'll drop an e-mail to MSNBC.

9. Ron Reagan filled in for one of the show hosts for a week.
I think he is good, sharp and takes it to rightwing dog whistlers.

6. They certainly should. He's part of our bench strength.
We don't have a lot of prominent talkers on our side, the way the bad guys do with Pox Noise and the "NON-excellence in Broadcasting Network" and the syndicators at Premiere and ClearChannel and the rest of 'em who stovepipe hate radio everywhere across America. We need more of them. Glad Melissa and Chris and a handful of others are being activated at MSNBC, and evidently being developed as new on-camera talents. WE NEED 'EM!!!! We need DOZENS of them.

I'm surprised he hasn't already been recruited for Current.

5. he excels at making Michael Steele look like a clown.
Though admittedly, that's not too hard to do.

8. Yeah, can you imagine? Not being overpowered by the Reagan
brouhaha (as his half-brother seems to have been) and finding your own way and truth. Couldn't have been easy. Maybe Ron and Nancy were good parents who encouraged that sort of independent thinking. If so, hat's off to them. It's too easy to make your kids bend to your belief, and the added pressure of having a parent in the public eye -- wow.

And it seems like he got the brains in the family. I really like him a lot!

they called Obama, Obameo.
