Tell it like it is!
I think we need to start calling Right Wingers/Republicans what they are: Selfish. Greedy. Mean. Evil. Liars. Bigots. Anti-American. Treasonous. etc......

We so often respond to their outrages with: Stupid. Silly. Crazy. Insane. etc.......

These ideas are certainly true, however they don't carry the weight, imo, as the other pejoratives.

"Moderate" America needs to see how dangerous the ideas of the Right are. These ideas can also be shown to be totally counter to many ideas found in the teachings of the New Testament concerning tolerance, the poor, etc. (I say this to point out hypocrisy).

"Moderate" America seems to have a hard time understanding the true situation. Propaganda seems to have an effect on them. Fox, etc. Let's start telling it like it is. Right Wing Ideas are counter-productive and will destroy America as we know it and love it.

1. There are two sets of them. The misinformed voter (often called the low-information voter) and
the agents of the wealthy. The latter are pols and media.

2. We need a true progressive platform that stands up to them
and stops capitulating to their bullying. all these ''nonpartisan'' strategies are getting us nowhere. when majorities were had in both house and senate we could have really pushed forward and gotten back on track. but I suppose Monday quarterbacking is no help either.

3. Why can't America be proud to help the sick, the weak, the young, the old, etc?
I believe the country was founded on the ideas of a level playing field. All of these things are theoretical but so many other countries have passed us and are taking much better care of their citizens. We need to concentrate on the things that will provide ALL of our citizens a high quality of life. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness (with the implied ability to get some). The media and the pols act like this is all a game of thrones or another game of some sort. Many, MANY, Americans are being hurt by this focus on military might, deficits, debt, bailing out the rich, etc. Do we want this nation to become a shining example of Good?
