Dear Rush, Hannity and Beck please tell your followers not to kill
innocent people. Maybe try talking about peace and goodwill FOR ONCE, I know it is impossible since none of you have real emotions that equate into good vibes. Just, please, once again I ask you to stop telling your followers and the general audience at large, through hints and subterfuge to go out and commit violent acts against their political opponents.

Thanks.

1. There is no sensationalism in peace or goodwill
What would there be for them to peddle?

2. There might be, none of them have ever tried peace and goodwill!
Who knows, if they only tried to act civil it might keep future assassination attempts at bay. They could peddle positive ideas...and maybe dream catchers or crystals. Trust me, there is always SOMETHING to make money on.

3. Longfellow: They mock the song of peace on earth good will to men."
George W. Bush ended one of his speeches with the quote from "I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day" by Longfellow: "Peace on Earth Goodwill toward men." His entire speech was to argue for a surge in Iraq--the war that he, the chief warmonger STARTED! Ironically, a stanza before the one Bush quoted talks about people, such as Bush, who would use these terms!

For hate is strong and mocks the song
Of peace on earth, good will to men."

Every word the Republican party utters truly mocks peace and good will.

4. This is not the message to send
This is just sniveling weakness expressed to sociopathic assholes who don't give a fuck, and the only result it will produced is laughter and scorn on their part, followed by more incitement of violence.

If you want to send a message to right wing hatemongers, the only one to send is that they won't stop us with threats, bullying or bullets. Shoot one and there will be ten more of us. We won't stop.

5. hey can't fault a guy for trying, can you?

but you bring up an interesting point.

We aren't playing the same game they play.

We want reasoned discourse; they want argument.

We want to change the country for the better through votes and legislation and the justice system; they want to change America for the worse by using every ugly tactic bullies use.

We want freedom for all - including ourselves. They want freedom of speech only for themselves.

When we realize it is greed and big money we're fighting, we may be able to fashion a strategy to stop them. We aren't trying to stop regular people - regular people, even Republicans, don't want this. We are trying to stop huge corporations and their mean, hate-filled mouthpieces.
