Why Rick Perry Is Headed To The White House

I didn't dignify the article by reading the entire thing. Yet I had to read the concluding paragraph which told me how much this guy knows.

And in the process, they will write the epitaph to set upon the tombstone of history's greatest democracy: Perry-Palin, 2012.

:spray:

God, I LOVE this guy! He's so funny!!!

1. Don't laugh too hard
The Pukes here in Red State Amerikkka really seem to love Perry. A lot more than any other Puke candidate.

12. She's a kook but the devout still like her
and whoever runs likely will do something to woo that segment of the party.

10. Luckily, though, he scares the bejeezus out of Independents
and that's where general elections are won.

At least I hope so ! :)

4. Actually, the whole storry isn't bad.
http://edition.cnn.com/2011/OPINION/08/11/moore.perry.candidate/

One of the highlights:
A C and D student, who hates to govern, loves to campaign, and barely has a sixth grader's understanding of economics, will lead our nation into oblivion.

In a country where there is a sucker born every minute, and they will vote for the guy advertising exectuives tell them they want to have a beer with, he could be right.

7. I completely disagree with James Moore
Perry will not win 2012. He could quite possibly be the GOP candidate but his ego is too fragile to choose someone as selfish as he is (Sarah Palin) as a running mate. Once Perry is held up in stark contrast to President Obama, once Rick Perry is allowed to open his extremely clumsy, downright ugly mouth with impunity, well...

In the words of Joe Bob, "That man is as dumb as a box of rocks." And he's twice as mean.

11. President George W. Bush...
perhaps the most unworthy ignorant asswipe ever to sit in that office, was elected to two terms with the help of friends, people willing to bend election laws until they screamed for mercy, and an American electorate who think onion skin paper is deep.

Considering the state of the economy and the unemployment numbers, I think Obama will have a very difficult run for President. It doesn't matter who wins the nomination on the other side. Put in a pretty face with the right speech writers and it will be a very competitive race.

But, believe it or not, compared to Rick Perry, Dubya was a freaking genius and able to present himself as genial. Rick Perry is mean, stupid and vindictive and he doesn't hide it well at all.

EDIT ADD: I find it weird that Mr. Moore, supposedly an expert on all things Rove, neglected to mention how Perry and Karl hate each other as well as the tug-of-money-war currently going on between Turdblossom's American Crossroads/Romney supporters and the moneybag boys funding Perry.

Why would he neglect to bring that up?

22. I agree with everything you said.
But I find it dificult to overestimate the willingness of the American Electorate to fall for a con. Perry will hire the brest con artists on the right to make him look good. With a disastrous economy to keep Americans scared shitless, he will win the south, including Texas and Florida.

Now, look at the number of state with Republican administraions who will work to count the vote in their favor.

19. It refers to Perry.
It is a great article that rakes Perry over the Coals. The writer understands the Republican electorate and is willing to drop his shorts and moon them.

It was from CNfuckingN?

Seriously CNN? Publishing a Perry-Palin fantasy?

Palin herself can't even think she'll be anywhere near any ticket for any office anytime soon....

....he's looking for a handout. Perry will not be elected president. He is too ignorant, too biased, and has too many skeletons in his closet.

now, they have to be even crazier rightwing religous. Bush tapped into the same religous base, and won twice.

Ignorant? Check. Skeletons? Check. Biased? Check.

Mark it down. Perry will be the next President. Obama has squandered his mandate for change by giving us NONE.

25. The only thing that could possibly prevent it
would be for the Dems to focus like a laser beam on his obvious weaknesses. And when have Dems EVER been known to do that?

Hell, we let the Thugs cheat us in 2000 and 2004. Sat on our hands and gave them the White House.

Perry is it. The media will portray him as not as crazy as Bachmann and the rest of the Thug assclowns. And the dumbass electorate will buy it. Why? Because for the entire Obama term, WE HAVEN'T GIVEN THEM A VISION, A MESSAGE, A CLEAR ALTERNATIVE.

We have no one to blame but ourselves. It was all about JOBS. And Obama hasn't given us any hope for real change--at least, not since he took office.

29. As they were with McCain all the way to election day 2008
The media never wanted to admit that McCain never had a chance. They played him and his awful running mate as viable contenders to the very last. That is what they do. They need conflict in order to keep people watching because they are completely profit-driven and have no interest in actual news reporting. They'll mythologize Perry because they're lazy and the bigger-than-life Texan, gunning for Obama is an easy sell.

That won't change the fact that Rick Perry is dumb, mean and prone to tripping over his own tongue.
