I had dinner in a restaurant in a small town, 37 miles SE of Kansas City.
Not to knock the place or anything, but the food fit the decor. Fried and salty.

(It was near closing when I took the pictures. That is why the salad bar was being cleaned out.)

1. All those funky air conditioners next to the salad bar look like a health hazard

Don't they have inspections?

3. It's a small town, what can I say.

The restaurant has been there since forever, in one form or another.

4. The crazy thing is that the cost to run all those is probably MORE

than if they had a real A/C unit..and they could depreciate the cost of the upgrade too...My husband's boss bought a $200K piece of equipment for the shop because he could depreciate all in one year instead of bit by bit..

5. Legionaries disease incubator.....I'd hate to see the electric bill...

or the electric panel it must be very hot with the overload. The board of health needs to have lunch there.
