Yes, I'm judging without knowing all the facts

Man arrested after 4-year-old girl is found naked in apartment

Terence Giberson Police arrested a 52-year-old Redlands man for allegedly kidnapping and molesting a 4-year girl found naked in his apartment.

The girl was playing outside her family's apartment at the Los Arboles complex on the 900 block of Pine Avenue on Monday when she went missing sometime before 7:30 p.m., said Redlands police spokesman Carl Baker.

Her father went looking for his daughter and found her undressed, yelling and banging on a neighbor's window, Baker said. The father went inside the apartment, rescued her from a naked man inside and took her home calling police, authorities said.

5. A couple I know left their 3- and 5-year-old daughters alone in their own home for 20 minutes
They thought it would be OK to go next door and chat with the neighbors for a few minutes. They locked the doors and stayed within sight of the front door the whole time.

They returned to find that their charming daughters had, in just 20 minutes, scribbled all over two walls in multi-colored crayon, and put all of the silverware into a toilet.

8. Lesson was learned. They never did that again.
The girls are both grown up now. They are both in their late 20s and doing well.

12. Any for every story like this, nothing happens the other 100,000-1,000,000 times...
...parents lose track of a child.

Which doesn't mean parents shouldn't be cautious, but people give into hysteria way too easily.
