The austerity push, as Krugman noted, will severely damage our economy. And I know full well the cuts will fall on us and not on the wealthy. As for the torture part - well the image of a few Wall Street CEOs getting stretched on The Rack does bring a smile to my face. ;-) Who knows, maybe they would be willing to pay people what their worth.
