fur any future deficit bills that cut domestic spending.

Half of the first tranche of "cuts" are security/defense (over a third pure defense, and about 15% DHS/etc). Fully half of the second tranche of triggered "cuts" is pure defense (not including veterans benefits/military pay).

While I don't think we should be talking about cuts at all right now, getting half of the cuts to be cuts that generally favor isn't all that bad relative to what I was expecting (especially since we have no entitlement benefit cuts and very little Medicare provider cuts).
