Student Chris Staniforth, 20, dies after playing too much Halo 4 on Xbox 360

Student Chris Staniforth, 20, died of a lung blockage after he developed deep vein thrombosis (DVT) by spending up to 12 hours at a time on his Xbox 360, according to his father who is campaigning to raise awareness of the issue.

Mr Staniforth collapsed outside a job centre, shortly after telling a friend he was experiencing chest pains in May.
His father David, who is trying to warn similar gamers of the risks involved, said: 'He told his friend how he was woken in the night by a strange feeling in his chest.

Not a tremendously important point, but they should at least get their facts right.

As a regular gamer for over 30 years, I can tell you there's no good reason to NOT take a break every hour or so. Your hands will thank you.
