Absurdity.
Someone has to say it. That is the point this country has reached and if anyone still has blinders on after last night, I have to worry about such a person's ability to reason. We've reached a point where after one party agreed to extend the Bush tax cuts when obviously they didn't and don't work according to the ideology that promotes them, the same party offers the other party another $2.7 trillion in tax cuts with no revenue offsets and it wasn't good enough for that party. So they will negotiate for more while one party uses a contrivance of a debt ceiling as an emergency. Anyone left who still thinks we live in a democratic republic I have to argue against based on the preponderance of fact.

2. Thanks.
No telling how much more suffering will occur in the austerity madness.

6. They will eventually.
The sad part is it will be too late for many American families.

4. They want, apparently
another Hoover presidency. I'd say we are already in a Depression (not a recession) and they want to make it worse. It's stupidity, absurdity and insanity.

7. They want erasure of the modern American era.
They want to replace it with their whacko vision of utopia.
