Personally don't want democrats forced to punish the most vulnerable in our society to cater to lunatics. If republicans really think it will be ok part of me thinks we should let them not raise the debt ceiling and take all the blame for the outcome. But really I'm still hoping sanity will return and congress will just raise the debt ceiling with nothing attached like they've done so very many times before. The whole thing is just sickening. What do you think will happen?

7. There is No Good Solution

Rightly or wrongly, if we go into default, Obama will get the blame for the consequences.
Obama and the Democrats HAVE to make a deal. The Republicans do not.
