11. Prediction:They were both written by *atheists*.

I think I see where they're going with this.

(Despite the fact that Hitler wasn't an atheist.)

Plus which... on youtube he lists about twenty favorites, some political, some not. No coherent ideology ( or philosophy) discernible from his reading material.

Edit to add: the main aim here, you realize, is to get the word "Communist" out there.

Doesn't matter how much contradictory information one has to ignore; GET IT OUT THERE.

5. I only heard of the shooting about 20 minutes ago
From what I have seen so far, the guy sounds like a mentally disturbed person who took politics far, far too seriously.

12. Some scholars assert Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel's writings that spawned
Left and Right Hegelianism were the source for Marxism and Fascism.

That's interesting because neoconservatives first found fertile ground in the left political community but in the 1980s moved to the right political community.

17. Also Alice in Wonderland...he must have been the Mad Hatter!
Everyone is looking for ways to say "he's not like me, he's not like us" because if we can say that it makes "me/us" feel safer.

Even if it's just through the act of denial, we want to think we could never walk into a shopping center and be killed by an act of violence. We want to think that no one like us could do such a terrible thing, no family member, no classmate, no political soulmate etc, would do such a horrible thing...

and if they did, it would be because they are 'deranged.'
