I dont..even if they are conservative. I just don't. No matter where I go people are grumbling about it. What individual actually wants this?

2. Not where I live.
But my cat could run for Congress and beat a Republican.

Sometimes I feel kind of isolated from the rest of the country because there just isn't an active conservative population here. It's not like they don't exist but they keep a pretty low profile.

6. My cat would run for Congress AS a Republican :)
But you're right about the bubble. When I voted for district supervisor last year, the only conservative on the ballot was a transgendered woman who used to run a sex-toy business. Not exactly what I'd call an average conservative :)

I have found people who are relatively conservative on specific issues, but I've only ever seen one teabagger, and that was in 2004 before they existed!

3. Ies. My BIL & SIL, however, it's only fair to tell you that he is
a retired Marine. Lifer, in for 24 years. I stopped talking about anything politcal years ago because he doesn't know how to discuss or even argue any subject without getting violently angry.
