I was darn curious to read the second prediction. I found it also at
http://solidaritywisconsin.com/content/predictions-latest-justice-prosser-mess, which links to same original non-working link.
So, here's prediction number 2:
2. Prosser and his talk radio protectors will claim he was a victim by dusting off the 'women-are-wily/he was provoked' defense as Prosser did when he justified having called Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson "a total bitch" and had threatened to "destroy" her:
"I probably overreacted, but I think it was entirely warranted. . . . They (Abrahamson and Justice Ann Walsh Bradley) are masters at deliberately goading people into perhaps incautious statements. This is bullying and abuse of very, very long standing."
These excuses are the adult versions of the defenses children thrown out when children need correction, including "girls are sneaky," "my big sister tricked me," and "all the kids are doing it."
And the adults must step in when unwanted hands are laid on another, in anger or not.
There's also a number 3 at the link, but this is 4 paragraphs.
This whole Prosser/Wisconsin/Walker situation is beyond anything I could have imagined. How did things get so effed up? (no need to explain, I've been following it since the start...) It's like a movie or something. SNL could do a skit on it. Prosser makes himself the victim? He comes across so weak and helpless. Poor wittle Justice. Unbelievable.
