"DU" or "the DU"?

Poll question: "DU" or "the DU"?

For several years, it's bothered me that some people seem to refer to this board with a definite article: the DU. I don't know why it bothers me; it just sounds goofy to me, I guess. So, do you refer to the board as "DU," or do you add a definite article and refer to it as "the DU?"
