1. If so he would out 'McGovern' McGovern
Although Paul isn't half the man McGovern was

McGovern had more integrity in a cup of piss than Paul would have in his entire family tree

3. No prayer.
TPTB don't want him because of his anti-imperial politics, and the rest of us don't want him on grounds of his general lunacy.

4. I'm not curious. He's my congressman, and he's against EVERY social program ...
and he's a notorious racist. He doesn't believe the government has any function other than to outlaw abortions, from what I can determine. Sure he's for legalizing drugs, but he's also for scrapping social security, medicare, medicaid, funds for education, and he would vote to overturn civil rights legislation, such as the public accommodations law. He thinks the property owner is KING! He's all about property owners, and I'm certain in his heart of hearts he believes that only property owners should have the right to vote.

In short, he's a nutjob.

5. As much chance as a snowball in hell.... IF

the snowball was made from frozen propane and was rolling uphill on a surface lined with burning matches.

6. His appeal is to a small defined loyal base married to Libertarian mumbo jumbo
If he attempted to expand his base, the ceiling would drop. Simple physics: he ain't going nowhere.

7. I'm Hoping He Bolts and Runs Third Party...
If Mittens or some "moderate" wins the nomination the teabaggers could be looking for a third party and Paul's done it before. Even if he draws 5 or 10% of the vote it'll have the similar affect Nader had on Gore.
