...made himself a target. Not the Repubs, not Andrew Briebart, not Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity or anyone else anywhere.

He did this to himself.

You can continue to tilt at your windmill all you like. Congressman Weiner showed insanely poor judgment as well behaving in a manner not consistent with people that we pay $160k (plus lifetime health bennies and an amazing fund to pay interns and housing) to speak for us in Congress. The people that we send to Washington should be smarter than that. Much smarter.

Regardless of his previous awesomeness in calling out idiots on the right - he did some very dumb things that, when taken as whole, diminish his shine. There are PLENTY of other progressive fighters out there that can do his job as good as he and NOT BE SO FREAKING DUMB! Why hold on to a broken toy when you can get a new one for free?

I rec this post as it was supposed to be funny and when you cannot laugh at yourself - you likely deserve the criticism.

In the end...the only person that should be concerned about the sex part is his wife. The rest of us are concerned about horrible decision making and the inability to recognize that his actions could bring problems.

This was the same issue that I had with President Clinton - did not care about the sex at all, it was the fact that he thought he would not get caught.
