I love Anthony Weiner and that's not going to change--I'm super disappointed but I still believe he cares about his constituents, and the rest of us, in the core of his DNA, and that's what matters most in a public servant.

But why why why why why why why would you send pictures of yourself? SO STUPID? And so egotistical, too. As a woman I can say that that kind of thing would make me want to :puke:. But most of all--STUPID.

He will be back. He is finally doing the right thing. Doesn't look any actual extra-marital sex acts took place. It's a dirty little secret -- but not the end of the world.

Now if Breitbitch convinces one of the communicants to sue him ala Favre -- then a much bigger problem. You better believe they are trying to do just that.

I'm fine with him not resigning. His constituents can make that decision next year.

But I'm disturbed. He admitted he sent that picture to the girl in Washington, who apparently did not ask for it. That's not just non-consensual, it's frankly assaultive. And then he lied about it.

This really puts his character into question. I have to say, as much as I admire (most of) his political positions, I would not vote for him again. His judgment has been put into question. If he can be this unsavory and stupid in his personal life, and this risky, I would have grave doubts about his judgment in general.

Even Breitbart would agree he never sent it to her. He fucked up and posted it to his feed, which was the problem.

Be glad he got to the story before someone like the Koch brothers. Do you think they would have gone public for the publicity like Breitbart or would have offered to save Weiner the embarrassment? Or saved the embarrassment until just before an election?

I don't care a bit about who sends pics to who or who cheats on their wife. I care big time when a politician does something they don't want public, no matter how little I care about the thing they did. I'd guess that campaign money is not the only reason so many dems are in the pockets of big business.
