An interesting broadcast...

Rat Patrol Radio is replaying the CBS broadcast from D-Day synchronized with the time. The broadcast started at 3AM 'Standard War Time' (yes the announcer used that phrase).

I've learned that Hitler is a Godless heathen (what happened to Got Mit Uns?) and our christian troops are making headway and will certainly be victorious. Russians are dancing in the streets at the news that the second front is opened.

FDR will be on later tonight to pray with us.

The broadcast will repeat tomorrow beginning at 9AM with about a 6 hour shift.

1. Which station is doing that?

A&E on the 25th anniversary of the death of JFK did that - Walter Cronkite reporting and the clocks in the back on the news room were in synch.
