Is it me...
...or are there an inordinate number of big oil commercials on MSNBC lately? Are they attempting to pressure MSNBC's reporting with big advertising dollars?

The commercials seem to have the same general theme: oil companies are goooood! for America. A tad ironic given the price at the pump.

1. High gas prices + record profits = political squeeze coming.
They are trying to stave off the attacks with PR.
