A new type of forum for us?

"Democratic Think Tank"

I would like all of DU's Opinion on the suggestion please.

I would like to create a Forum or Project where we can "in Brief" List and certify through documentation all of the "stripping of Democratic and Constitutional Amendments/Protections" that have been occurring since the Regan Era through Bush I, Clinton, Bush II and some that are still not rescinded or investigated during President Obama's first term. Included I would like to create a time-line with the data.

Making the Forum/Project specifically for documented RESOURCE MATERIAL that all can reference NOT Opinion, unverifiable statements or RUMOR.

Included also all of the Presidential over-reach in power, shenanigans, voter and election fraud, stacking of Judiciary, disinformation, the collapse of Constitutional Protections, Nationally and State to State. ESPECIALLY STATE TO STATE with the stripping of rights occurring now with Republican Governors..

***Just the Stripping of Peoples Rights State to State Should be its own list, I bet many on here do not realize how many states (21 and counting) are striping Constitutional rights from people and there seems to be little to no push back.

IF we can get all of this in one place, documented and verified with three sources, (if possible) I think it would help facilitate others when writing or refuting the political extremism occurring in the US today.

And it would make it easier for many more people to start writing opinion pieces or Letters to the Editor comments to hopefully. wake the populous up to what is happening to our Country.

A "Democratic Think Tank" if you will, and start a public push-back in the media...maybe I am not the person to do it, maybe this is not the place for it, but if we have an awesome resource page...maybe hundreds of thousands of like minded people with use the page as reference material helping everyone's cause for Liberty and Justice for all.

I would like a location we can start documenting the Usurping of Citizens National and States Rights and Powers in one location so that all of us, together can have the same information in a central location as a reference page?

Please don't misunderstand me there are a lot of great resources on the Internet already and awesome forums on here such as the Activist and the Civil Liberties Forums but, well... Maybe I am asking for too much, am out of my depth, or naive, maybe I should just drop it and continue doing this on my own.

I will understand if the reply is,

Go do your own research,
it is all on here already,
go look it up yourself.

All those answers are TRUE and Valid...but if I have to hunt and peck to make talking points then so does everyone else...

1. We used to have a forum like that during the * years.

It was for research to help with refuting Rs when we called into Washington Journal or engaged in LTTE campaigns. Everyone contributed bits and bobs to it and it was quite useful. I was looking for it the other day and couldn't find it. I do believe that we need a think tank before the election cycle kicks in.

I used to troll the forums long before I registered and I could have sworn we had a resource page also but, I cannot find it.
Granted this is 2011 and the last time I remember seeing it was something like 2006 or 7.

7. We should not be afraid of opponents seeing that we have facts.

They can scrub it or refute it, but if we are talking of the truth, we can't worry about it.

If we hide all that we know from them, we are also hiding it from each other.
