Why do Republicans want to turn all the states into Alabama?
Is there something I'm missing here? Is there something going on economically in Alabama that we should all strive for? I'm not trying to be sarcastic. I really would like to know. I'm sure there are some great people there and wonderful communities, but it seems to be a repressive place to live unless you were born to the right family.

1. Because the Republicans in power are from the "right" families.

2. I think they like Alabama because the masses vote Republican without question
As long as they continue to do so, the Repubs can run rough shod over them while they remain blissfully ignorant of it all.

3. Low to No TAXES No Regulations. Business runs the state. Right to Work State
High Poverty, Lacking Health Care, Ranks way at bottom
on Education.

Aristrocacy. Rich and Business run things , lower standard
of living for everyone else to high rate of poverty.

This is the goal. Why do you think Wisconsin, Ohio
and other Midwestern States are having unions attacked?
Make them Right to work and lower standard of living
so they can compete for jobs like Alabama.

4. Sounds like they have their own little feudal kingdom set up. I love
the medieval era but sorry I want to keep what we have now. The only people who benefit from a feudal system are the rich. The rest of us get screwed. I have often wondered why the ordinary people in states like these stand for it. I suspect that religion is indeed their opiate.
