Lawrence O’Donnell: ‘Bush-Cheney fanatics’ could learn from Obama ‘how to fight terrorists’

In the wake of Osama bin Laden’s death, MSNBC anchor Lawrence O’Donnell said the Bush administration and its backers could learn a lesson in how to fight terrorism from Sen. John Kerry (D-MA) and President Barack Obama.

“Now is the time for the Bush-Cheney fanatics — the people who created the war on terror and who got so much of it wrong -– to listen to John Kerry and to listen to President Barack Obama teach them how to fight terrorists,” O’Donnell said Tuesday night.

“The last decade did not have to be a decade of war,” he added. “A wiser president…could have saved us from our overreaction” over 9/11.
