How are political videos choosen for visual display on the main page?

1. Okay

The big video at the top left of the page is the video with the most recommendations in the last 24 hours. All the other videos just appear in the chronological order that they were posted in the Political Videos forum, with the top one being the newest.

EXCEPT: in order to keep the homepage videos fresh, the date on the YouTube video must be no older than 3 days, or it will not appear on the home page.

2. Ah...

The reason I ask is because a video I posted some days back never made it to the thumbnails. Strangely, what I believe was the same video did show up there a few days later from another member. I suppose it's possible both videos had identical titles and content, but mine had an earlier date... Anyhoo, thanks for the info, EarlG!
