Question about the political videos forum
Is there any way to bump a thread up out of the archives?

The reason I ask is that a video can only be posted once for all time and eternity, as the system works now. Even if that video is relevant now, it can't be posted ever again.

The particular video I am thinking of is Mario Cuomo's 1984 convention speech, which has new power in light of Madison, in addition to being a real classic of American political rhetoric. But the video cannot be discussed now because someone posted it in April 2007.

Is there any way we can make it possible to revive threads from the archives, or, failing that, put a limit on how far back the system searches for duplicate posts?
