Will Republicans fight the Obama Tax Cut Bill of 2010?
When the Bush Tax Cut bill expires next year a new bill will have to be passed. Obama has already said he will let the tax cuts for those making over $250k expire. That would raise the high bracket from 35% to almost 39%. Now if the Democrats offer a bill to extend the tax cuts to the lower brackets and not the upper one, will the minority party fight it like they have HCR? Will all 40 Senators vote against tax breaks for the middle class? Remember if no new bill is signed, all taxes revert back, even the "death tax". This could be fun.

2. Yes.
If it's Democrats' idea they will be against it. And they really don't care about tax breaks for the middle class.

Of course they will! They will fight tooth and nail to have the high bracket tax cuts reinstated and will squeal like the greedy bastards they are.

It's going to be quite a show.

Democratic success will "increase their constituency," and reTHUGs just cannot permit that. Suck on it, Hatch.

6. That won't be a tax cut bill, will it? It will be a Tax Raise Bill. Obama's Tax Raise Bill.

7. Bush's Republican Tax Cut bill of 2003 says that it
expires in 2010. That is their bill. Any new bill will be to lower the Republican planned resumption of the old tax rates. Hopefully it will only restore the middle class cuts.
