ourselves, why aren't Kucinich, or Sanders, or Grayson, or any other Progressive
running against Obama in the primaries? One likely and very important reason is
they realize that they would be splitting the Democratic Party. And this would
guarantee that a Gingrich, Romney, or Bachmann would be president in Jan., 2013!
This would be a nightmare!

No responsible Progressive or Liberal would want to see the above happen. This
would be self-destruct, a death-wish.

No matter how poorly one thinks of Obama, if he wins in Nov. 2012, at least there
will still be a United States of America left standing, come 2016, even though it
may be crippled and barely limping along. In the meantime, between now and 2016,
Democrats can do their best to look for, find and make sure that a more effective
and Progressive candidate will be running for the job in 2016.

I haven't given up hope that Obama is changing and getting tougher. And it
may be more than just talk. At least, just watch.

Let's stop all this despairing negativity which can be of no help to anyone but
the Greedy Obscene Party, and think and work in more positive terms toward the
future from now on! That means both 2012 and 2016.

2. Really? I think if all those doubting Democrats vote, Obama will win in 2012. And there

should be a real reform within the Democratic Party, which will
prepare us for 2016.

If, for example, the DLC still exists under one name or another, I
think it should be dropped from the Democratic Party permanently.
Good rddance to bad rubbish. I call a spade a spade. Nothing
despairingly negative about that. There is always room for
improvement. Nobody's perfect.

10. The DLC took over the Democratic Party. It is now the DNC. Ergo, the DLC no longer needs
a separate existence.

Morever, Third Way, Progressive Policy Institute, and the Democratic think tanks are all populated with DLCers.

3. Don't worry, you won't find any of that 'disparing negativity' at DU3.
Dissent is crushed by hanging juries and trigger happy hosts.

5. But "hanging juries" and "trigger happy hosts" are also only expressing their opinions. Right
now, to me, the most important and urgent event is to win,
and win big, in Nov 2012.

It's a sheer disgrace to our country that the likes of so many
sick sociopaths could have risen to such high positions of
responsibility in both government and private industry. They
have been elected to high office to help resolve problems.
How could they help resolve problems when they, themselves, are
the problem?

Half of our nation have been wackoed into voting for these sickos
through decades of propaganda and lies. These people have been
brain-washed, and don't know what they're doing. And there are
that many of them! Half of our nation!

When have we ever fallen so low?

6. We have never fallen this low, not in my lifetime.
I am so disappointed in Obama. He was in the right place at the right time to step in assertively and start turning our nation around. He didn't and he won't.

11. Yes, they are expressing their opinions, even as they suppress the opinions of others.
That makes it worse.

9. Primaries are supposed to divide a Party and then the Party is supposed to come together for the
general.

Obama has no right to a clear field. Neither does any other politician.

The system may be imperfect, but that IS our system.

Deal with it.
