You knew he'd never get nominated, and his real purpose was to try desperately to trick people into thinking he wasn't stupid. Image rehabilitation through presidential candidacy never really works though. People would just be reminded of what a buffoon Dobbs is.

19. Dobbs doesn't seem like a natural in politics. He suggests to me a
guy on the LIRR commuter trains grumbling into a calculator on a rainy Thursday evening's ride home.

He needs a boho transfusion.
