Edited on Thu Nov-17-11 09:27 AM by nmbluesky
FOOOL YOU ha haha
read this..
----------------

A group of two dozen millionaires stormed Capitol Hill on Wednesday, demanding lawmakers raise their taxes.
"We want to pay more taxes," said California millionaire Doug Edwards, a former marketing director for Google. "If you're fortunate, and you make more than a million dollars a year, you ought to pay more taxes."The millionaires want Congress to allow the tax cuts passed during the George W. Bush administration to expire. Some want higher taxes generally.

2. I thought this would be the Onion. I must be dreaming.

Maybe noblesse oblige still exists...among a few, anyway.

5. If Grover Norquist doesn't like taxes so much,
why doesn't he renounce his citizenship and move to Somalia.

Every Congress critter who has signed Norquest’s No New Tax pledge needs to be tried for Treason.
They all took another (real) pledge of office to uphold the Constitution.

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.”

How does this square with Grover Norquest No new Tax pledge, especially when this country is so deep in dept because of tax cuts and unnecessary wars?
All those that signed Grover Norquist’s pledge basically swore allegiance to Grover Norquist over the Constitution. How is that not Treason?
