Sell in May and go Away.. it works, the Market is NUTS
Thank GOD that Bush did not get his way on privatizing social security. We think you are going nuts now with our 401-K, Annuities and Pensions (they are all market driven) tanking.. can you imagine how we would have felt with the safety net tanking too.

And that is what Social Security is.. its insurance. So when everything else bottoms up you have a something to keep you going.

For some people it is everything.. such as my brother. He is a dishwasher.. he has no other retirement options.

Just like car insurance and life insurance.. you don't pay for the entire replacement of a vehicle before you are covered.. it is a blanket benefit.. so is SS..

But the majority of us have retirement plans in any number of possibilities.

The guys on wall street.. the brokers etc.. will drive you nutsy fagen .. with buy and sell charts and then go absolutely ballistic when the computers kick in and it all falls apart. Rock Scissors Paper is just as effective.

But there is one bit of advice that I live by..

Sell in May and go away.
