President Obama to hold a news conference tomorrow
http://www.nationaljournal.com/obama-to-hold-press-conference-tomorrow-20110628

President Obama will hold a press conference on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. from the East Room, the White House announced on Tuesday evening.

Obama is likely to make remarks on the ongoing deficit-reduction and debt-ceiling negotiations and face questions on the economy, Libya, Afghanistan, and his reelection campaign.

Not counting joint appearances with international leaders where he has taken some questions, Obama has not held a press conference since March.

1. The media will be drooling over this one.....
but of course, they are currently very busy drawing up their gotcha questions,
especially anything that they can get him to answer that would detract from
exactly what the Press conference will be about. If that doesn't work,
they can always cut away to go and cover that trial that I haven't been paying
any attention to whatsoever.

7. Hope reporters ask about the Global Commission on Drug Policy & the US Conference of Mayors ...
... proclamation, both of which called the War On (Some) Drugs a complete failure and, in the case of the former, named our country as the leading impediment to reform.

Why, Mr. President, does our country hate personal freedom and continue to support senseless and unsuccessful social control?
