In addition, his disapproval has risen by even more.
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=433x685566Note that he does not reach 50% against any Democrat. The loss in approval was while the media treated him as a superstar and gave him coverage for anything, usually positive. There were a few negative stories, but only because he shot himself in the foot - breathless announcing that he was going to Afghanistan the morning after OBL was killed and saying he saw pictures of OBL dead. There were also at least two issue ads - NOTHING compared to the volume he will face when the election really approaches.
The second set of analysis is eve better news for the Democrats. Kerry and Patrick are MUCH better liked.
http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/pdf/PPP_Release_MA_0608.pdf Kerry at 55/36, Patrick at 54/36, while Brown was 48/36 - the remainder were "unsure". Brown's numbers have slowly bee going down since he he was elected, but this is the biggest jump. As there is always some bias towards what people think the interviewer wants to hear, I wonder if this could be a breach in the dam, with more people willing to say that they don't approve of the job he has done.
