MMFA: If Obama Were A Shoo-In For Re-Election "Osama Bin Laden Would Still Be Alive Today

"According to Rush, the only reason the mission was undertaken -- AND the only reason jokes were told about Trump at the dinner (yes, Rush DID tie these together) -- is that the President isn't a shoo-in for re-election."

AND

I just polluted my mind with Rush's rant this afternoon.

Post 7:

Him praise Obama? Not really. Backhanded compliments

for Obama finishing Bush's work. Apparently Obama didn't put the team together and was not really very important in last night's action. Yada yada. I was alternately swearing at him and laughing so I missed a bit. Honestly, I can take him for only a few minutes more than Michael Savage (the oh so aptly named loudmouth with a microphone).

Post 9:

In addition Lardbaugh kept stressing that President Obama said "I" too many times..

and didnt give enough credit others. Obama did give credit to others and since he is CIC and the ultimate decision maker, I dont know how else one would describe what happened. The RW is having a really bad day today trying steal the thunder from the President.

ON EDIT -- One more:

Fuck Limbaugh
This sick bastard just said that Obama scheduled his press conference last night to, get this, preempt Trumps TV show. <MORE AT LINK>

I think Rush is confusing The Donalds speech with Obama speech.

4. In a way, Rush is right. We can't afford to get complacent and relax our guard.
Reelection is not certain. Considering the public's short attention span, the current euphoria over Bin Laden's death will be over in a few days; pretty much forgotten in a month. We can't rely on this event to keep the president's popularity up for long. It is going to be a tough fight, and there is still a lot of work to do.
