Thanks to Scott Walker, Barack Obama WON in 2012!!!!
I wrote a thread about how insiders within the RNC think Walker is overstepping with his union-busting antics, but even IF he does go through with defanging unions in Wisconsin by taking away the ability to negotiate, he will make those that follow his footsteps and try to do the same EMPOWER the Democratic base like no other issue could.

If Kasich does the same thing, expect Obama to win Ohio handily. If Walker does what he wants, Wisconsin not only goes Blue for Obama, but the House and Senate are essentially wiped clean of any Repig scabs.

The same with Florida. Blue!

So let little college dropout Scottie Wanker get all extremist Godsquad. It's the best thing Obama could ever have handed to him.

1. Damned shame
that the good people of Wisconsin must endure whatever awaits them under the Walker regime, but you're correct that an inevitable backlash awaits.

4. They elected him.
People just don't think.

All the people who think there is no difference between democrat and republican. All those people who plan on sitting out the 2012 election because Obama isn't liberal enough....PAY ATTENTION.

2. It's not just the Presidency
It's state and local positions. I suspect we will see the biggest recall of Republicans in the history of the country.

Scottie Wanker doesn't get it...and never will.

5. I agree. They said that we would lose some more seats during election time in future.
I think that has been 100% forestalled because of the current issue in Wisconsin which I'm sure will start spreading around the nation.

25. Wisconsin recalls need to gather 25% of the votes in the last election in signatures within 60 days
Those sound like pretty steep requirements to me.

3. While I won't go as far as to make that conclusion at this early stage
it is helping to revitalize and reenergize the labor movement and the Left more generally, and we could have used that last year, but better late than never.

6. Maybe
It would be nice if Barack payed a short visit to Cheesehead Nation. Even just a touch and go would do wonders for the people who put him in the White House.:hi:

7. Oh, bargaining rights are wrecked forever but Obama gets re-elected? Obama, who hasn't exactly come
out to strongly condemn what Walker's doing? He'll get re-elected anyway? WHEW! There goes that worry.

a Republican in the WH in 2012. They deserve whatever is coming.

15. I wish I didn't agree with that.
But, 2004 and 2010 are good evidence of that. So are the multitudes who bitch and complain about union members making a decent wage and benefits, instead of realizing that they could have that if they unionized, too.

9. 2012
You may be right.Walker has defently put Wisconsion Into safe Obama catergy although polling has suggested it already was.
Republicans In the House are doing nothing to help economy. The 2010 elections occured because of following

Very low Democratic Turnout
High Republican turnout
Independents voting Republican over economy

Democrats are starting to get more enthursed again, and we are seeing to see Independents swing back to Obama.

If Republicans are stupid enough to shut down government over 2012 Budget the race could basiclly be over. They just handed Obama a
second term like Gingrich handed Clinton a second term. After the government shutdown In 95 the race for Republican nomination was
largely about who would lose to Clinton. And assuming Huchabee and Palin don't run do people really think Romney or Ginrich or Barbeur(I think without Huchabee or Palin he would be the second string candiate to benefit) are going to beat Obama?

But, in the context of the whole post, it's Wanker doing the handing. I think she meant "HAD handed to him."

11. If true... what an awful election strategy...
What this strategy says to me is, "let other people get taken, go without, get jailed for something intended to be under this Constitution. Let it be ensured that we are SO BAD off, they'll surely want the Democratic "leadership" Obama can provide in 2012.

What flatulence! How GUTLESS can those strategists be? Now we are seeing what you are believing under this presidency, which you hope will cinch the next election.

I simply want to puke over this type of "anticipation" .... benevolent rule by the rich..

When it shall be said in any country in the world, my poor are happy; neither ignorance nor distress is to be found among them; my jails are empty of prisoners, my streets of beggars; the aged are not in want, the taxes are not oppressive; the rational world is my friend, because I am the friend of its happiness: when these things can be said, then may that country boast its constitution and its government."

Thomas Paine

18. Ahh, willing to sacrifice the lives and wellbeing of thousands of union families
On the altar of Obama's reelection campaign. How disgusting. It might hurt a little less if Obama actually, actively helped out the folks in Wisconsin and such states, but he is staying above the fray, letting the "little people" take the hit, so that he can benefit politically. Sad, really sad.

20. What nonsense. Obama did not create this situation. The people of Wisconsin did by electing
this fool. We are a democracy, and these people were elected. Obama is not a king or a dictator, he can not replace Walker with the wave of his scepter. It is the people of Wisconsin that must demand
their needs be met and I'd say they were doing a great job of it. Let your government know what you will not tolerate. But by no means is this Obama's strategy.

Obama bashers on this board will find anything to attack him on. It is getting ridiculous.

23. We said the same thing in 1981 when Reagan fired the air controllers
and destroyed the PATCO union. We would win easily in 1984. That really worked out, didn't it?
