HR 3 : There is no difference between the parties
Edited on Tue Feb-01-11 10:46 PM by denem
No difference between a corporate Democrat and a corporate Republican;
No difference between the DLC and RNC;
Obama is worse than Bush, he gives cover to the Kleptocracy.
:sarcasm:

Read HR 3: The Bill Redefining Rape To Prevent Abortions
Read HR 3's definition of Rape:
A minor obliged to fight off her attacker;
Drugged, scared beyond words, not Rape.

No difference between the parties?
Eat it.

There is no difference in better or worse actions between any person.

Some do more good or more bad, but they all have issues, everyone has a problem or two. And when we fixate on someones issues, we miss all the really good stuff they do.

So yea, make the world better, but not by hanging people with an issue, but by helping them if you can. And that includes trying not to hang people for hanging people. I think that is why the light side of the force is only for defense, but just and compassionate defense also.

Thats how I think about it.

And tell stories and laugh when you can, and find joy in life where ever it is.

:loveya:

Also why I try not to judge people, even when there is always that 'for and against' dynamic in things, who is on your side, who is against ya, that concept.

So mostly I, post music and tv clips, although going to keep going for walks occasionally, could be a beer out there, never know for sure.

8. You must be a dino!!!!! (sarcasm)
It's true what you say. Some of the comments I read here are simply mind boggling. The list of accomplishments that O has done...some people are never happy and act as if he has been twiddling his thumbs for two years.

I've had my (serious) grievances with the Dem Party and O in particular (and Harry Reid very particularly). But I think I recognize that although BOTH parties, being composed of human beings and all, are corrupt to a certain degree, and play politics to an even larger degree, there is a big difference in their positions on some major issues and in their party platforms.

10. + Unemployment benefits & the minimum wage

These are real brass knuckle issues for the least advantaged. A man or woman picking up their check are not particularly concerned about stratospheric idealogical debates Few, if any of the underclass are prepared to starve in the interests of ideological purity

2012 RNC campaign song. "You're having my baby. What a wonderful way to say how much you love me".

11. No shit. Reading the text of that bill makes me physically ill.
I can't imagine a bill like this even being whispered about during a Democratic congress.

I may occasionally be disappointed in the Democrats, but the Republicans are unadulterated evil.
