2. I don't know what other explanation there would be...
Geebus. Even in my worst PMS days, with hormones raging out of control, I was never THAT weepy at the drop of the hat.

5. I thought everyone had or knew an uncle who drank continuously and would cry about everything.
I can spot the type a mile away. Boehner is a major class drunk.

4. What a buffoon
And this is such horse-shit. Each person is walking up there one at a time.

Remember those songs we used to hear as kids (Schoolhouse Rock)?? There was one for the Constitution

http://www.schoolhouserock.tv/Preamble.html

Hey, do you know about the U.S.A.?
Do you know about the government?
Can you tell me about the Constitution?
Hey, learn about the U.S.A.

In 1787 I'm told
Our founding fathers did agree
To write a list of principles
For keepin' people free.

The U.S.A. was just startin' out.
A whole brand-new country.
And so our people spelled it out
The things that we should be.

And they put those principles down on paper and called it the Constitution, and it's been helping us run our country ever since then. The first part of the Constitution is called the preamble and tells what those founding fathers set out to do.

We the people,
In order to form a more perfect union,
Establish justice, insure domestic tranquility,
Provide for the common defense,
Promote the general welfare and
Secure the blessings of liberty
To ourselves and our posterity
Do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

In 1787 I'm told
Our founding fathers all sat down
And wrote a list of principles
That's known the world around.

The U.S.A. was just starting out
A whole brand-new country.
And so our people spelled it out
They wanted a land of liberty.

And the Preamble goes like this:

We the people,
In order to form a more perfect union,
Establish justice, insure domestic tranquility,
Provide for the common defense,
Promote the general welfare and
Secure the blessings of liberty
To ourselves and our posterity
Do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

For the United States of America...

Note:
The lyrics here have a slightly abridged wording of the Preamble to the United States Constitution. The actual document starts, "We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union..."

We just don't have these kinds of shows for kids any longer. And the adults need it too. Especially these Repuke dolts in Congress. Oh and the Tea-Party members, too

8. Some GREAT scuttlebutt on Boehner's (alleged) drinking, as discussed
on today's Stephanie Miller show!

Apparently, he's been given a car and a driver to eliminate any possibility of a DWI arrest while in D.C.! There were stories circulating that he's actually been pulled over a number of times in his home district, but for some strange reason ( ), he's never actually been arrested.

14. If a Democrat or a Democrat and a woman
was doing this, they would be vilified by the GOP.

My guess is he is taking his cues from Beck and the TV preachers that the RW seems to adore. The shtick seems to work quite well for them.

16. A woman who acted like this in a political situation would be deemed hysterical
and unfit for her duties. If a woman acted like this at her job, she would probably be let go for being too emotional and unstable. I don't understand how he gets by with this type of behavior.
