Reclaim the Dream' rally
in Washington, DC. Thousands joined Sharpton for his 'Reclaim the Dream' rally to commemorate the 47th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King's famous 'I Have a Dream' speech. It also was counter-protest to a rally being held by Fox News conservative talk show host Glenn Beck in front of the Lincoln Memorial at the National Mall.

2. kicking for Al Sharpton
He is a very dynamic man. I'm happy to see this turnout. This happened without the patronage of a television station.

I was at this Rally and the march today.

THIS is the dream and the message that should be focused on. I had the chance to shake Benjamin Jealous's hand today, and I started to cry. The emotions of the day were just wonderful. Mr. Jealous put his arms around me and hugged me and told me that we are all brothers in sisters in the fight.

THANK YOU for posting these pictures. From N Street all the way down to Constitution Avenue was a sea of humanity.

I was at home this morning, watching part of that other thing, and I decided, I am going to be a part of not only reclaiming the dream, but making it go forward. Today was a beautiful day. We marched from Dunbar High School to where the MLK memorial sight will be.

My feel are tired, but my soul is truly strong.
